"My Gutter Hurts"
This past Tuesday, when I had parents visiting my classroom, I had a funny story that took place. During my teaching time, one of my little girls said, "My gutter hurts." I was like "What? You don't have a gutter!" She preceded to tell me that the space between the teeth and her cheek hurts. She called that her "gutter." Isn't that cute? Truthfully, maybe because I've taught first grade a while now, I can understand why she called it her "gutter." I thought this was cute on what came "Out of the Mouth of Babes."
